# My generation failed

Try these steps if Decky cannot complete a presentation generation.

### What to check

1. Make sure the presentation request is still available.
2. Check that required files finished uploading.
3. Confirm attached files appear correctly in Decky.
4. Review whether the request includes unusually large or complex source material.

### What to try

1. Try the generation again.
2. Remove unnecessary files and retry.
3. Simplify the request or start with the most important source material.
4. If one file appears to cause the problem, try without that file.

### When to contact support

Contact Decky support if:

1. The same generation repeatedly fails.
2. Multiple normal requests fail.
3. A specific supported file consistently causes generation to fail.
4. The issue prevents you from continuing your work.

Include a short description of the presentation you were creating. Include which files you used when relevant.
