# Decky isn't using the right brand style

Fix a presentation when the design does not match the brand or Theme you expected.

Fix a presentation when the design does not match the brand or Theme you expected.

Decky uses the selected Theme and available brand materials when designing presentations.

### What to check

1. Confirm the correct Theme or company brand is selected.
2. Review the Theme's colors, typography, imagery, backgrounds, and writing rules.
3. Determine whether the issue affects one slide or many presentations.
4. Check whether the Theme changed recently.

### What to try

For a one-off issue:

1. Ask Decky to change the affected slide or presentation.
2. Give a specific instruction, such as:
   * "Use less orange on this slide."
   * "Make this background simpler."
   * "Use our approved imagery style."
   * "Make the headline treatment match the rest of the deck."

For repeated issues:

1. Update the Theme itself.
2. Use the Theme agent to request a Theme-level change.
3. Give a specific instruction, such as:
   * "Use orange only as an accent."
   * "Make title slides more editorial."
   * "Stop using gradients in customer-facing slides."

Presentation edits change the current deck. Theme changes affect future presentations using that Theme.

If the same visual issue happens across multiple presentations, update the Theme.

### When to contact support

Contact Decky support if the correct Theme is selected but Decky consistently fails to follow it.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://decky.gitbook.io/decky-docs/troubleshooting/decky-isnt-using-the-right-brand-style.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
