# Make changes to your theme

Ask Decky to update the presentation system using natural language.

### Change the system

Use the Decky agent inside a Theme to request updates to the Theme itself.

> **When you chat inside a Theme, you are changing the presentation system Decky uses, not just editing one presentation.**

Ask for broad changes, such as:

* “Make our title slides more editorial.”
* “Use less orange throughout the theme.”
* “Make our backgrounds more minimal.”
* “Use larger typography on section slides.”
* “Make charts feel cleaner and more executive.”
* “Make the writing style more concise.”

Use the agent when you want broad changes. You do not need to adjust every Theme setting separately.

### Manage individual areas

Inspect individual Theme sections when you need direct control. These sections include colors, typography, backgrounds, imagery, charts and data, and writing rules.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://decky.gitbook.io/decky-docs/brand-and-themes/make-changes-to-your-theme.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
